Migrating incremental data (only when source virtual machines are powered on)

After completing the full data migration, if you are unable to shut down or forget to shut down the source virtual machines promptly, a large amount of incremental data will be generated on the source virtual machines. You can choose to manually migrate incremental data. Transferring the incremental data before shutting down the source virtual machines will reduce the data transfer time after the source virtual machines are shut down. If there's no need to migrate incremental data, you can directly shut down the source virtual machines to perform the final data synchronization.

The procedure is as follows:

  • Migrating incremental data for a single source virtual machine: Click Migrate incremental data in the task entry.
  • Migrate incremental data for source virtual machines of multiple migration tasks: Select the task entries for the migration tasks that require incremental data migration, click the ellipsis (...) in the upper right corner, and choose Migrate incremental data.
  • Migrating incremental data for source virtual machines of all migration tasks: Click View on the right side of the banner at the top of the interface, and select Migrate incremental data.

After clicking Migrate incremental data, the execution status will be displayed below the migration task entry. You can refer to the Managing in-progress migration tasks section to perform corresponding operations on the migration task.
