Updating the vCenter Server association (VMware ESXi virtualization only)

You can update the vCenter Server association settings of an ACOS (VMware ESXi) cluster.

Prerequisite

At least one data center and one cluster should exist in vCenter.

Procedure

  1. Click a cluster to access its page, then select Settings from the tab bar, and select vCenter Server.

  2. Click Update to modify the following information.

    • vCenter address: Enter the new vCenter address.
    • Administrator username and Administrator password: Enter the username and password of a vCenter administrator account to ensure the necessary resource operation permissions.
  3. Click Connect.

The system will authenticate the vCenter address, username, and password. The association will be successful once the authentication is validated.
