You can update the SCVM management IP address for each node in an ACOS (VMware ESXi) cluster.

Precaution

  • The SCVM management IP address and the SCVM storage IP address cannot be in the same network segment.
  • The SCVM management IP addresses of all nodes in the cluster must be within the same network segment.
  • The SCVM management IP address and ESXi management IP address of each node can communicate.

Procedure

  1. Click a cluster to access its page, then select Settings from the tab bar, and select Management IP.

  2. (Optional) Update the subnet mask and gateway of the management network.

  3. Update the SCVM management IP address of the node, which is displayed as the Management IP of the host on the page.

  4. Click Save.
