Updating the management virtual IP

Setting the management virtual IP address for the cluster ensures high availability of cluster management on the AOC UI. When this virtual IP address is accessed, the connection will be automatically routed through any available ACOS management IP address (AVE virtualization) or SCVM management IP address (VMware ESXi virtualization).

Precaution

  • The management virtual IP address and the nodes' ACOS management IP addresses (AVE virtualization) or SCVM management IP addresses (VMware ESXi virtualization) must be in the same subnet, and AOC must be able to access the cluster via the management virtual IP address.
  • If a file storage cluster has been deployed in the ACOS cluster, the management virtual IP address for the ACOS cluster cannot be left empty.

Procedure

  1. Click a cluster to access its page, then select Settings from the tab bar, and select Virtual IP.

  2. Update the management virtual IP address.

  3. Click Save.
