A VM placement group consists of constraints and rules for virtual machine placement and migration, ensuring that virtual machines run on appropriate nodes. After creating a VM placement group, during the virtual machine startup, migration, or HA rebuild process, the system will select an appropriate host for the virtual machine according to the placement group policy.
