When creating a virtual machine, the operations and maintenance administrator can specify its user. The user can manage and operate the assigned virtual machine through the AOC VM user view, including opening the terminal, performing power operations, modifying information inside the virtual machine as well as snapshot management. After logging in to AOC, a VM user can only view and operate the virtual machines assigned to them, and cannot perform other operations.
Prerequisite
Ensure that the VM user role has been created and assigned appropriate permissions. For details, refer to the Management > AOC users and permissions > User management > Creating a user section.
Procedure
View the virtual machine information.
Click the virtual machine to access its details panel on the right. The details are as follows:

| CPU usage | The CPU usage of the virtual machine. |
| Memory usage | The memory usage of the virtual machine. |
| IOPS | Displays the IOPS (read, write, and total) of the virtual machine and individual disks. |
| Average latency | Displays average latency (read, write, and total) of the virtual machine and individual disks. |
| I/O bandwidth | Displays I/O bandwidth (read, write, and total) of the virtual machine and individual disks. |
| Average block size | Displays average block size (read, write, and total) of the virtual machine and individual disks. |
Perform operations on the virtual machine.
The available operations are as follows:
In the virtual machine details panel, you can open the Terminal, Start, Shut down, Restart, and Suspend the virtual machine.
In the virtual machine details panel, you can click the Snapshot tab to view all snapshots related to the virtual machine. On this tab, you can also create new snapshots, view snapshot details, roll back snapshots, and delete snapshots.
If VMTools is installed, you can modify the hostname, IPv4 address, and DNS server address of the virtual machine.
If the VMTools version is 3.2.0 or later, you can also modify the virtual machine's IPv6 address.
