The vGPU software package officially released by NVIDIA includes NVIDIA Virtual GPU Manager and NVIDIA Graphics Driver.
NVIDIA Virtual GPU Manager is a driver deployed on the virtualization platform to provide vGPU functionality for virtual machines. Arcfra has modified and adapted the NVIDIA Virtual GPU Manager and released it with ACOS. It will be referred to as vGPU driver in the following text.
NVIDIA Graphics Driver is a driver deployed in virtual machines using GPU to enable them to use GPU devices. It will be referred to as GPU driver in the following text.
When using vGPU in virtual machines in an ACOS cluster, these two drivers need to be obtained in advance. The vGPU driver needs to be obtained from Arcfra and installed on the host where the GPU device is located; the GPU driver needs to be obtained from NVIDIA and installed on the virtual machine that will mount and use the vGPU.
