ANS VPC networking is implemented using a layered architecture consisting of the management plane, control plane, and data plane, as shown in the following figure.
Management plane: Installs and manages VPC networking.
Control plane: Configures VPC networking products such as VPCs, VPC subnets, security groups, and gateways.
Data plane: Computes and forwards data flows, and matches security rules.
