Virtual computing support

Virtual machines in ACOS (AVE) clusters connect to VPC networks through vNICs, enabling the use of VPC networking.

  • VPC networking support for the AVE primarily includes:

    • Creating, updating, and deleting vNIC resources.

    • Pushing, updating, and clearing network configurations for vNICs on the VPC bridge.

  • AVE support for VPC networking primarily includes:

    • Creating, updating, and deleting vNICs for virtual machines.

    • Plugging vNICs into or unplugging them from the VPC bridge.

The following section uses an ACOS (AVE) cluster as an example to illustrate how virtual machines are created, deleted, and migrated in a VPC network.
