Monitoring and alerting

The overall architecture is shown in the figure and mainly includes:

• AOC UI alerting module: Notifies users of alert information.
• Observability platform OVM: Generates alert events based on configured alerting rules and monitoring data reported by associated obs-agent instances.
• obs-agent: Collects metrics or logs and pushes them to the observability platform OVM.
• VPC services: Including VPC-controller, VPC-proxy, VPC-agent, gateway-agent, and other services, providing metrics APIs and collecting VPC-related metrics.

Specific metrics collected include:

• VPC resource counts: The number of VPCs, VPC subnets, security policies, route tables, gateway services, etc.

• VPC gateway service forwarding data: The number of egress and ingress packets, egress and ingress traffic, etc.
