Viewing backup plans

On the Backup & DR page, select Backup plan to view all current backup plans.

Click a backup plan name to enter its details page. On this page, you can view the relevant details of the selected backup plan, including basic information, backup schedule, backup time, execution records, VM restore point and events.

  • Basic information

    Displays the backup service, backup repository, status of file-system consistent, status of compression, backup file compression ratio, backup valid capacity, and total backup file size.

  • Backup schedule

    Displays the backup schedule, full backup schedule, backup window, and retention policy for restore points of the backup plan.

  • Backup time

    Displays the next automatic execution time and the last execution time along with its result (including both manual and automatic executions) of the backup plan.

  • Execution records

    Displays the execution status of the backup plan, with different colors representing different conditions.

    • Green indicates that the backup plan was executed on that day and all backup jobs were successful.

    • Red indicates that the backup plan was executed on that day, but some backup jobs failed. Hover over the day to view the execution time and the number of VMs for which the backup failed.

    • Blue indicates that the backup plan will be executed as scheduled on that day. Hover over the day to view when it will be executed.

    • Gray indicates that there is no scheduled backup plan for that day.

  • VM restore point

    Displays all virtual machines included in the backup plan and all restore points for each virtual machine.

  • Events

    Displays user events and system events related to the backup plan.
