Event auditing

Event audit records and shows what happened in the cluster. The super administrator, operations and maintenance administrators, and security auditors can view event information to trace the cause of cluster failures or other operation and maintenance events.

Event audit information includes user events and system events. The Event page on Arcfra Operation Center (AOC) displays all event information. You can click an event under the User event or System event tab to view its detailed information.

  • User event: Shows all operation records of all users.

  • System event: Shows information about virtual machine high availability rebuilding, virtual machine automatic reboot caused by system anomalies, automatically triggered tasks by the system, or unknown user-initiated tasks, such as plugging and unplugging a USB on a host.

    Note:

For information about a virtual machine restart due to an operating system failure, you can click the ellipsis (...) on the right side of the event and click Download to download a screenshot of the operating system error information to your local computer.

You can only view event information but cannot modify or delete it. When you need to back up event records, you can export all user events or system events to local storage. The exported file format is *.csv.
