Manually executing a backup plan

Created backup plans will run automatically according to the set backup schedule by default. You can also manually perform a backup plan.

Prerequisites

The backup plan currently has no ongoing manual jobs.

Procedure

1. In the Backup plan list, select the backup plan you want to perform manually, click ... on the right side of the list, or select Perform manually on the backup plan details page.

2. Select the backup type in the Manually perform backup plan page that appears.

   • If any virtual machine in the backup plan does not have manually-created restore points, only full backup is supported.
   • If all virtual machines in the backup plan have manually-created restore points, you can choose either full backup or incremental backup.

3. Click Perform manually to initiate the manual execution of the backup plan. If needed, you can stop the backup job in the AOC task center.
