When all physical disk types in the cluster are a single medium type of SSD (such as all NVMe SSDs or all SATA/SAS SSDs) and there is no need for space optimization features, but only high performance is required, you can deploy with the non-tiering mode. In this mode, the cluster supports only replication mode as the redundancy policy. The cache partition is not created on physical disks, and all I/O operations will access the data partition directly.
