In ACOS, ABS offers client host and client host group mechanisms to streamline access rights management for O&M personnel.
Users can create client hosts within an ACOS (AVE) cluster based on the actual configuration information of the physical server client and configure IQN or IP information for it. Client hosts with the same purpose or configuration requirements can be grouped into a host group for batch management. Subsequently, you can associate a client host or client host group with specific storage objects such as an iSCSI target or iSCSI LUN. Once associated, all client hosts automatically gain access rights to the associated storage objects. This effectively enhances management efficiency and reduces configuration complexity.
