What's in this release

What's new

Backup and recovery

  • Supports reconnection by editing the backup repository type, server address, and folder path when the backup repository initialization fails.

  • Adds configuration items in the virtual machine backup files, including the HA (High Availability) rebuild priority and status of automatic startup with the host.

  • Supports selecting the type of virtual machine snapshot created when the backup service performs jobs, including file-system consistent snapshot and crash-consistent snapshot.

  • Supports batch deletion of restore points.

Replication and recovery

  • Adds configuration items synchronized from the original virtual machine to the replica virtual machine during replication, namely, the HA rebuild priority.

  • Supports selecting the type of virtual machine snapshot created when the replication service performs jobs, including file-system consistent snapshot and crash-consistent snapshot.

  • Supports batch deletion of restore points.

Operations and management

  • Supports synchronizing the system time of backup service and replication service virtual machines with the NTP server configured in AOC.

  • Supports monitoring and alerting for the connection status between backup service virtual machines, replication service virtual machines, and NTP servers, including connectivity and time offset with NTP servers.

  • Supports monitoring and alerting for resource utilization of backup service virtual machines and replication service virtual machines, including CPU usage, storage space usage, and memory usage.

  • Supports monitoring and alerting for the status of backup service and replication service.

  • Supports monitoring and alerting for backup repositories, including connection status and capacity usage.

Improvements

  • Supports periodic automatic cleanup of finished jobs for backup service and replication service, reducing the memory usage when AOC pulls jobs, without affecting the event display on AOC (Arfcra Operation Center).

  • Supports breakpoint resumption of virtual machine backup data transmission. When the job is retried, the backup service will continue the transmission of the remaining data from where the last transmission was interrupted.

  • Supports breakpoint resumption of virtual machine data transmission for replication and failback. When the job is retried, the replication service will continue the transmission of the remaining data from where the last transmission was interrupted.

  • Reduces the CPU usage when the backup service virtual machine performs incremental backup jobs.

  • Retains more types of logs after restart of backup service and replication service, and supports automatic log cleanup.

  • Optimizes the backup repository connection status, displaying the error type and description when the backup repository mount fails.

  • Adds error types and descriptions when the backup or replication plan fails to be created or edited.

  • Supports displaying the VDS and VLAN ID of the source VM network in the network mapping when rebuilding a virtual machine using a restore point.

  • Optimize the interaction when editing or deleting a replication plan by removing the option to retain or delete recovery points if none are available.

  • Optimizes the scrolling behavior of the backup plan and replication plan details pages.
