Uploading and mounting the ISO image of the VM Initialization Tool

Refer to the following steps to upload and mount the ISO image.

Prerequisite

• The installation file of the VM Initialization Tool has been obtained.

• The operating system has been installed on the virtual machine to which the VM Initialization Tool ISO image is to be mounted, and is compatible with the VM Initialization Tool.

Procedure

1. Refer to the Managing the content library > Managing ISO images section to upload the ISO image of the VM Initialization Tool to the content library, and distribute it to the cluster to which the virtual machine to be mounted belongs.

2. In the details panel of the virtual machine, click Edit in the Disk section to open the Edit disk dialog box.

3. Click Mount CD-ROM > Load the ISO image, and select the VM Initialization Tool ISO image.

4. Click Save.
