If HA is enabled for virtual machines on the host, the virtual machines will be automatically migrated to other available nodes to maintain high availability.
Common causes include hardware failures such as motherboard, power supply, BIOS firmware, or memory issues. The alert may also be triggered if the host is shut down or being restarted and becomes unresponsive.
For SCVMs, this may also occur if the SCVM was not configured to start automatically with the host during deployment, causing it to remain shut down after the host restarts.
For physical hosts, use an out-of-band management console such as IPMI to check hardware and software information and identify potential hardware failures. If a hardware failure is confirmed, contact the hardware vendor or operations team to repair or replace the component.
For SCVMs, log in to VMware vCenter or the ESXi host where the SCVM resides, and check whether the SCVM is started. If the SCVM is not running, start it. The alert will be automatically cleared once it starts normally. It is recommended to configure the SCVM to start automatically with the host to prevent this from recurring.
