A storage node is a node that runs the Chunk service and is responsible for storing data. Unlike master nodes, storage nodes do not run critical services such as ZooKeeper or Meta. As a result, failures of storage nodes have a more limited impact and generally do not affect the overall availability of an ACOS cluster.
