A network failure refers to issues related to network connectivity within an ACOS cluster.
Network failure usually occurs due to hardware or driver issues of NIC, cable module failure, upstream link issues, congestion or other causes. These failures cause network latency or packet loss between nodes, or even disrupt the entire network connection.
When a single NIC experiences an exception, the system quickly detects and automatically attempts recovery. If a node's storage port or access port has been bound to a network port, and individual NICs experience high latency or packet loss rates, you can temporarily remove the network port from the binding if resetting the NIC (ifconfig down/ ifconfig up) still does not resolve the issue. You can then add the network port back once it returns to normal.
