In a hybrid-flash configuration, cache disks and data disks are deployed separately—high-speed SSDs are deployed as cache disks, and low-speed HDDs are deployed as data disks.
ACOS can be either installed on two physical disks that form software RAID 1, or independently installed on two physical disks that form hardware RAID 1. Under these two deployment methods, only the partitions on the system disks differ, while the partitions on other disks remain the same.
The physical disks on a single node are described as follows:
ACOS installed on hardware RAID 1
ACOS is installed on two independent SSDs, which, together with the storage controller, form a hardware RAID 1 and serve as the system disk. Other physical disks in the node serve as cache and data disks.

ACOS installed on software RAID 1
ACOS is installed on two SSDs configured with software RAID 1. The remaining storage space is used for cache and data. Other physical disks in the node serve as cache and data disks.
