What's in this release

Improvement

  • Optimized the parameters used by the backup service when mounting the backup repository to prevent unnecessary logs generated by the kernel.

Resolved issues

  • A file handle leak would occur due to data contention when performing a backup job or a replication job for virtual machines using multiple virtual volumes. The issue has been resolved in this release.
  • A backup or replication job could fail for target objects using erasure coding as their redundancy policy. The issue has been resolved in this release.
  • A memory leak would occur due to a context leak when performing a backup job or a replication job. The issue has been resolved in this release.
  • A backup or replication plan may not be executed as expected when the execution schedule is set to hours or minutes with a time window. The issue has been resolved in this release.
  • Restoring a virtual machine from a restore point via the command line would fail when the original backup service is unavailable and the backup repository contains backup objects without restore points. The issue has been resolved in this release.
