Cleaning the VM Initialization Tool instance

The VM Initialization Tool instance requires to be cleaned in the following scenarios:

• When a virtual machine created from a template does not run as expected due to the failure of services it depends on, resolve the issue based on the following steps:

  1. Reconvert the template into a virtual machine and modify the relevant configurations.
  2. Clean the VM Initialization Tool instance and restore it to the initial state.
  3. Shut down the virtual machine and then convert it back into a template.

• To reconvert a virtual machine initialized using the VM Initialization Tool into a template, perform the following steps:
