Step 1: Uploading and mounting the ISO image

Refer to the following steps to upload and mount the Arcfra VM Initialization Tool ISO image.

Prerequisite

  • The Arcfra VM Initialization Tool ISO image is already obtained.

  • The virtual machine is a Shutdown state.

  • The operating system is already installed in the virtual machine and compatible with Arcfra VM Initialization Tool.

Procedure

  1. Refer to the Management > Managing the content library > Managing ISO images section to upload the Arcfra VM Initialization Tool ISO image to the content library and distribute it to the cluster to which the virtual machine to be mounted belongs.

  2. In the details panel of the virtual machine, click Edit in the Disk section to open the Edit Disk dialog box.

  3. Click Mount CD-ROM > Load the ISO image, and select the Arcfra VM Initialization Tool ISO image.

  4. Click Save.
