Compatibility with server architectures

When performing migration tasks using Arcfra Migration Tool 1.6.0, the server architectures supported by the source and destination cluster nodes are Intel x86_64.

Compatibility with ACOS

Arcfra Migration Tool 1.6.0 supports Arcfra Cloud Operating System cluster using Arcfra Virtualization Engine, that is, ACOS (AVE) cluster, running version 6.1.1 or later as migrating destinations.

Compatibility with VMware vSphere

Arcfra Migration Tool 1.6.0 supports migrating virtual machines from the following versions of VMware ESXi to Arcfra Virtualization Engine (AVE), as well as the following versions of vCenter.

• ESXi versions: 5.0, 5.1, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, 8.0

• vCenter versions: 6.0, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, 8.0

Compatibility with virtual machine operating systems

Arcfra Migration Tool 1.6.0 does not support migrating virtual machines with 32-bit operating systems.

When the destination cluster is a VMware ESXi cluster, Arcfra Migration Tool 1.6.0 supports migrating virtual machines with operating system versions and firmware types listed in Arcfra Migration Tool 1.6.0 Compatibility Matrix.

For Windows and Linux virtual machines with operating system versions and firmware types not included in the compatibility guide mentioned above, but are included in AVE Compatibility Guide, migration through Arcfra Migration Tool is also supported. However, after migration, the destination virtual machines need to be booted with the IDE bus, and you need to manually install VirtIO drivers for them.
