    Overview

    ACOS provides virtual machine services and supports the installation and use of Arcfra VMTools in some guest operating systems. For the compatibility of the server types and guest operating systems supported by ACOS with Arcfra VMTools, refer to AVE Compatibility Guide with the software.

    After installing Arcfra VMTools, you can use the following functions:

    • View the configuration information of the guest operating system.

      It includes the operating system name, the kernel version, the host name, the IP address, the subnet mask, the gateway address, and the DNS server address.

    • Modify the configuration information of the guest operating system directly from the management platform.

      It includes the host name, IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, DNS server address, the specified account's password, NTP server settings, time sync settings upon virtual machine resumption.

    • Generate a file-system consistent snapshot for the virtual machine, which requires Arcfra VMTools to be in the Running state.

    • View the usage of the file system partition for the virtual machine, including the mount point path, total partition capacity, used partition capacity, and partition usage rate.
