    AKE 1.6.1
  • Release notes>
  • Arcfra Kubernetes Engine

Upgrade notes

  • AKE can only be upgraded to this version when it is on version 1.5.0, 1.5.1, or 1.6.0. If the AKE version before the upgrade is earlier than 1.5.0, you must first upgrade AKE to version 1.5.0 or 1.5.1, and then upgrade to this version.

  • If the AKE version before the upgrade is 1.5.0 or 1.5.1, note the following:

    • Before upgrading AKE to this version, ensure that AOC is on a 4.9 series version.

    • Before upgrading AKE to this version, if any workload clusters in the AKE environment have the AIC addon enabled, ensure that the ANS service associated with the ACOS cluster where the workload clusters reside is on a 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, or 3.5 series version.

    • Before upgrading AKE to this version, ensure that the Kubernetes versions of all existing workload clusters are the Kubernetes versions (1.26.x to 1.30.x) supported by this AKE version, and that the feature version of all current workload clusters should be at least 1.5.0.

    • After the upgrade is complete, the ports used by workload cluster nodes to push monitoring data to the observability service virtual machine IP will be automatically switched from 80 to 443 and 8686. Therefore, ports 443 and 8686 must be opened before the upgrade.

    • If you need to upgrade the ACOS cluster where management cluster or workload cluster virtual machine nodes reside to version 6.3.0, you must first upgrade AKE to this version before upgrading the ACOS cluster.
