The advanced monitoring service is deployed as a standalone virtual machine in an ACOS (VMware ESXi) cluster to store monitoring data and trigger alerts. When the resource configuration (CPU, memory, data disk capacity) of advanced monitoring falls below the specifications required by the managed cluster size, service degradation may occur.
The memory usage of the VM running advanced monitoring is too high.
The data disk space of the VM running Advanced monitoring is insufficient.
The CPU usage of the VM running advanced monitoring is too high.
The monitoring views may load slowly.
When data disk space is insufficient, the latest monitoring data may not be collected and saved.
Historical monitoring data may be cleared prematurely, causing service degradation.
The specifications configured for the advanced monitoring virtual machine cannot meet the requirements of the managed cluster.
Check whether the resource configuration of the advanced monitoring virtual machine is below the recommended specifications for the cluster size. If so, upgrade the virtual machine specifications. Recommended configurations are as follows:
