Scaling up the resource configuration of observability services

After the observability service is successfully deployed, you can view resource usage on the Service VM page of the observability. When the resource usage is too high, the system will generate alert information. You can scale up the resource configuration of the observability virtual machine as needed.

Information:

When alert information is generated due to high resource usage, the CPU usage and memory usage displayed on the Service VM page may deviate from the alert threshold. The alert shall be the standard data.

Procedure

  1. Log in to AOC, enter the System configuration page, select Observability in the left sidebar, and click Settings in the upper right corner.

  2. In the pop-up management window, select the target observability. Select Service VM, click Scale up in the upper right corner of RESOURCE CONFIGURATION, and you should see the pop-up Scale up observability VM dialog box.

  3. Edit the allocation of vCPU, memory, and logical storage capacity, and click Save.

    Information:

The amount of configured resources can only be increased, and cannot exceed the allocatable resources of the cluster to which the current observability service belongs.
