Managing the AKE system service

On the Settings page of the Kubernetes service interface, you can associate the observability service with the AKE system service, view monitoring and alert information for the AKE system service, and view AKE container registry information. In addition, for the management cluster, you can also view cluster-related information, download the cluster's Kubeconfig file, upgrade the cluster to high availability mode, and pause or resume cluster synchronization.

Note:

  • The control plane certificate of the management cluster is stored on each control plane node and is independently maintained by each node. The certificate has a default validity period of 1 year, and the management cluster will no longer be available once it expires.
  • The certificate validity period is calculated from the date the control plane node is created. When there are 30 days remaining before the control plane certificate expires, the system will automatically perform rolling updates on the control plane nodes to renew the certificates. During this process, ensure that there are IP addresses that are not in use in the management cluster IP pool. Updating the certificate may result in an inability to connect to the management cluster for approximately 15 seconds. To avoid this impact, you can manually replace all control plane nodes to update the certificate when the remaining validity period of the control plane certificate is more than 30 days, choosing a suitable time to renew the certificate.
