Advanced monitoring capabilities are provided by a separately deployed advanced monitoring application. The advanced monitoring application runs as a virtual machine in the cluster and is installed using a separate installation file.
Since the advanced monitoring application has dedicated CPU, memory, and storage resources, it can collect data for a full range of monitoring metrics and ensure that monitoring data will not be deleted due to storage space limitations.
