  • Release notes>
  • Arcfra Kubernetes Engine

What's in this release

What's new

  • Introduces the integration of Observability that provides both monitoring and alerting functions, including:
    • Providing comprehensive monitoring from the perspectives of availability, high availability, resource insufficiency, latency, and performance for AKE, with timely alert triggers upon detecting anomalies.
    • Adding support for monitoring multiple key indicators such as etcd, Harbor, and Contour.
  • The version of the AKE container registry can now be checked from the UI.
  • Supports project-level permission management, including user and role management within projects, resource access authorization, and provides tenant-level Kubeconfig files to grant granular permissions to clusters.
  • Provides one-click access to physical machine details such as hardware configuration details and operation logs, simplifying the process of operation and maintenance.
  • Supports synchronizing the AOC NTP server configurations to prevent feature or cluster issues caused by time synchronization errors.
  • Supports creating any Kubernetes resources by importing YAML files or pasting YAML contents in the UI.
  • Supports opening the pod console, node console, and cluster console in the UI to perform operation and maintenance.

Improvements

  • Optimizes the overall design of display panels for node, persistent volume, persistent volume claim, and storage class to ensure consistency with those of other resources, and adds support for quick navigation across different resource types.
  • Improves the version validation mechanism for workload cluster creation and node file upload by validating only the major and minor versions, enhancing compatibility with patch versions.
  • When creating an IP pool of the workload cluster type, filling in the gateway and DNS server address fields is no longer mandatory.
  • Adds validation feedback when vGPU license error occurs or license expires.
  • Optimizes the error message display related to incorrect physical machine operations to ensure complete visibility.
  • Adds support for enabling in-place updates for cluster and node specifications and parameters, and provides a visual configuration entry for some parameter configurations.
  • Optimizes kernel parameters by adjusting the ARP cache table size.
  • Adds support for validating the full chain of certificates during container image registry installation.

Fixed issue

An inaccurate GPU available number prompt might have appeared when creating a GPU virtual machine. The issue has been resolved in this release.
