The Upgrade Center version metadata file contains metadata information, upgrade paths, and kernel upgrade recommendations for all cluster versions supported by Upgrade Center.
To ensure a smooth upgrade process, it is recommended that you visit the Upgrade Center Settings page prior to the upgrade to verify that the current version metadata file is up to date. If it is not the latest version, upload the latest version metadata file and refer to Updating the Upgrade Center version metadata file to manually update the metadata file.
