To ensure the proper functioning of the file storage cluster and its ability to provide services, refer to this section to understand the local ports used by the internal file storage services, as well as the ports occupied by other services that the internal services depend on. Based on this information, configure the firewall ports for the network between the hosts running the file controllers, as well as the firewall ports between the file storage cluster and external clients.
Note:
- Do not modify the default configuration or the default (closed) state of the firewall for the network between the hosts running the file controllers, as doing so may cause system issues.
- Unless otherwise specified, all ports mentioned in this document are Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) ports.
