Rules for opening ports when integrating with VMware ESXi

The following describes how to configure the firewall port opening rules for ESXi and vCenter when ACOS is integrated with VMware ESXi to ensure that ACOS functions properly.

  • To ensure that vCenter Server operates normally, the following ports need to be opened:

    443Allows access to the vCenter Server API for retrieving monitoring data.You need to open this port on the vCenter firewall.
  • To ensure normal communication between ESXi and SCVM, the following ports need to be opened:

    443Allows access to SCVM for using the ESXi SDK and retrieving monitoring data.You need to open this port on the ESXi firewall.
