The AKE bootstrap cluster is a K8s cluster where AKE core services are deployed. It is used only to create, upgrade, and delete the single AKE management cluster in the system through Cluster API, and is not responsible for managing AKE workload clusters. It is a required component in the K8s Cluster API architecture. During AKE installation, the components of the AKE bootstrap cluster are installed in the K8s cluster on the AOC virtual machine.
