The asynchronous replication solution has the following features:
Agentless
No agent needs to be installed in protected objects. This reduces management and operations workload, and the asynchronous replication process does not affect protected object performance.
Optimized replication data volume
Reduces the amount of data required for asynchronous replication by using incremental asynchronous replication, skipping unallocated data, and fingerprint-based deduplication, saving bandwidth and storage space.
Consistency assurance
Uses VMTools to create file-system-consistent virtual machine snapshots, preventing inconsistencies between cached data and disk data that may cause some files to become corrupted after virtual machine failover.
High availability
Relies on the high availability feature of AVE. When the node where the replication service runs fails, the replication service can automatically continue running on another node and provide services.
