    Overview

Installed in the guest operating system, Arcfra VMTools enhances virtual machine management efficiency by providing rich virtual machine information display and robust management features.

    • View guest operating system information

The virtual machine details panel displays system information, including the operating system name, kernel version, host name, IPv4 address, IPv6 address, subnet mask, gateway address, and DNS server address.

    • View virtual machine performance data

The virtual machine details panel displays the CPU usage rate, memory usage rate, and file system usage infomation (including the mount point path, partition capacity, partition usage, and partition usage rate) within the virtual machine, allowing for more accurate monitoring of the virtual machine's operating status and storage capacity planning.

    • Modify guest operating system configuration

You can modify the configuration information (including the host name, IPv4 address, IPv6 address, subnet mask, gateway address, and DNS server address) via the virtual machine details panel, and change accounts and passwords, reset NTP servers, and time sync settings upon virtual machine resumption.

    • Generate file-system consistent snapshots

You can create file-system consistent snapshots while taking snapshots for a virtual machine to ensure data consistency and integrity.

    • Provide the virtio-win driver for virtual machines

The built-in virtio-win driver can be installed on Windows virtual machines to enhance their performance.

For detailed instructions on using the above features, refer to the Platform > Management > Managing virtual machines section.
