Upgrading AOC

Arcfra Operation Center (AOC) can be upgraded either via command-line or management interface. You are required to choose the corresponding method for upgrading based on the current version of AOC.

For AOC versions earlier than 4.6.0, only command-line upgrades are supported. AOC 4.6.0 and later versions support upgrades to higher versions via either command-line or management interface. It is recommended to upgrade through the management interface to obtain a simpler, yet more reliable, intuitive, and observable upgrade experience.

Precaution

  • After upgrading AOC from a version earlier than 4.6.0 to this version, promptly perform the following operations to ensure that related features function properly:

    • Upgrade the deployed AOC agent to version 1.3.0 or later. Otherwise, data transmission will be affected.
    • Manually enable the event retention policy and configure the event retention period. For details, refer to the Configuring the retention policy section in AOC User Guide.
    • Open port 9000 on the AOC virtual machine. Otherwise, the AOC upgrade progress cannot be viewed.
  • If AOC is currently enabling high availability, the upgrade operation cannot be performed until the process is complete. After high availability has been fully enabled, you can then perform the upgrade.
