Creating an inspection task

Prerequisite

• The inspection service runs normally.

• The target cluster to be inspected must meet the following requirements:

  • The cluster type and software version meet the requirements.
  • It is associated with AOC and the connection is normal.
  • It is not included in other ongoing inspection tasks.

• Ensure that no SSH port editing operations are currently being performed in the clusters to be inspected; otherwise, the inspection task will fail.

Procedure

1. In Inspector interface of AOC, click + Create inspection task in the upper right corner.

2. In the pop-up Create inspection task dialog box, select the target cluster. You can select one or more data centers, or click on a data center and select one or more clusters within that data center. Each inspection task can select up to 50 target clusters.

3. Select inspection items. By default, all items are selected, but you can keep only the items you need.

4. Click Start inspection. Once the inspection task begins, you will be automatically redirected to the Inspection record page.
