Removing an ACOS cluster

After a cluster is removed from AOC, it will no longer be managed by AOC while the resources within the cluster remain unaffected.

Prerequisite

The current account must be granted the operation permission of Cluster association management.

Precaution

A cluster cannot be removed from AOC in the following scenarios:

• The cluster is associated with an ANS service or observability service.
• The cluster contains AKE workload cluster node virtual machines.
• The cluster contains replica virtual machines or replica volumes.
• The cluster is a target cluster of a replication plan.
• A file storage cluster is deployed in the cluster.
• The cluster contains system service virtual machines:
  • AOC virtual machines
  • AOC agent virtual machines
  • Backup or replication service virtual machines
  • ANS controller virtual machines
  • Registry virtual machines
  • AKE management cluster node virtual machines
  • Observability service virtual machines

Procedure

1. On the Cluster page of AOC, click the Cluster tab, which lists all clusters associated with AOC.
2. Click … to the right of the cluster to be removed, select Remove cluster, and the Remove cluster dialog box is displayed.
3. Click Confirm.
