Planning resources

The replication service needs to be deployed in an ACOS (AVE) cluster. The compute and storage resources occupied by the replication service are as follows:

  • vCPU: 4 vCPU

  • Memory: 16 GiB

  • Disk capacity: 220 GiB, including 20 GiB for system disks and 200 GiB for data disks.

    • In a cluster without the active-active feature enabled, 2-replica thin provisioning may consume up to 440 GiB of storage space.
    • In a cluster with the active-active feature enabled, 3-replica thin provisioning may consume up to 660 GiB of storage space.

Ensure that the cluster has sufficient compute and storage resources for replication services; otherwise, replication services may not function properly.
