To ensure the normal operation of replication services, the source and the target need to open corresponding TCP ports. The ports that need to be opened and the descriptions are as follows:
| Source | Target | Required ports on the source and the target | Network used | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| User | Target replication service virtual machine | 22 | Management network | The user uses this port to log into the replication service virtual machine for operational management, log collection and other operations. |
| AOC virtual machine | Replication service virtual machine in the source AOC | 6443 | Management network | The AOC virtual machine uses this port to access and edit replication service metadata. |
| 18080 | Management network | The AOC virtual machine uses this port to obtain monitoring data from the replication service virtual machine. | ||
| 18081 | Management network | The AOC virtual machine uses this port to obtain the health status of the replication service virtual machine. | ||
| 22 | Management network | The AOC virtual machine uses this port to log into the replication service virtual machine and perform installation and deployment operations. | ||
| Physical machines in the cluster for replication service deployment in the source AOC | 3260, 3261 | Management network | The AOC virtual machine uses this port to upload the package when deploying the replication service. | |
| Source replication service virtual machine (in synchronous replication, the replication service acts as both source replication service and target replication service) | Physical machines in the source cluster | 10201 | Storage network | The replication service virtual machine uses this port to read from and write virtual volume data to the physical machines in the cluster. |
| 10206 | Storage network | The replication service virtual machine uses this port to read virtual volume snapshot metadata from the physical machines in the cluster. | ||
| 10207 | Storage network | The replication service virtual machine uses this port to obtain the health status of the cluster from the physical machines in the cluster. | ||
| Target replication service virtual machine | Source replication service virtual machine | 18088 | Replication network | Asynchronous replication: The target replication service virtual machine uses this port to request the source replication service virtual machine to forward requests for reading virtual volume metadata or data to physical machines in the source cluster. Failback: The target replication service virtual machine uses this port to request the source replication service virtual machine to forward requests for reading virtual volume metadata or writing virtual volume data to physical machines in the source cluster. |
| Physical machines in the target cluster | 10201 | Storage network | The replication service virtual machine uses this port to read from and write virtual volume data to the physical machines in the cluster. | |
| AOC virtual machine at the target site | 80, 443 | Management network | The replication service virtual machine uses this port to send requests to the AOC virtual machine to query, create, and modify virtual machines, virtual machine snapshots, and virtual volume snapshots. | |
| 31443 | Management network | The replication service virtual machine uses this port to query license validity from the AOC virtual machine. | ||
| AOC virtual machine at the source site | 80, 443 | Management network | When an inbound replication plan exists, the target replication service virtual machine uses this port to send requests to the AOC virtual machine to query, create, and modify virtual machines, virtual machine snapshots, and virtual volume snapshots. | |
| AOC virtual machine at the current site | AOC virtual machine at the associated site | 80, 443 | Management network | When there is an outgoing or incoming replication plan, different sites use this port to send requests to query and operate the replication plan to each other. |
