The Upgrade Center version metadata file contains metadata information, patch version information, upgrade paths, and kernel upgrade recommendations for all cluster versions supported by Upgrade Center.
Before upgrading a cluster or installing a patch, navigate to the Upgrade Center Settings page, and verify whether the current version metadata file is up to date. If not, upload the latest version metadata file and refer to Updating the Upgrade Center version metadata file to manually update the metadata file.
