Disabling advanced monitoring

For a cluster that already has advanced monitoring deployed, if it no longer needs to collect data for a full range of monitoring and alerting metrics, or it is associated with an observability service and has the monitoring data migrated, you can disable the advanced monitoring application for the cluster.

Prerequisite

• The cluster is not in the initialization process.
• If the cluster is associated with an observability service, migrate the monitoring data first and then disable advanced monitoring.

Precaution

• After disabling advanced monitoring, collection of some data will be stopped when the basic monitoring capability is insufficient.
• The operation of disabling advanced monitoring cannot be undone. Once disabled, the system will delete the collected data. Process with caution.

Procedure

1. In the left sidebar of the AOC System configuration page, select Advanced monitoring. In the Cluster with advanced monitoring deployed field, click (...) on the right of the target cluster to disable advanced monitoring. Then select Disable.

2. After acknowledging the precautions, check I confirm to disable the advanced monitoring application for the cluster and delete its collected data to confirm the operation.

3. Click Disable to disable advanced monitoring.
