Upgrading a file storage cluster

Refer to this section to upgrade the file storage cluster to version 1.2.1.

Prerequisite

  • Confirm that the AOC version meets the requirements, refer to Overview > Release Notes > Arcfra File Storage > Compatibility.
  • You have uploaded the installation package;
  • The file storage cluster status is Normal;
  • There are no file systems in the file storage cluster with the status Creating or Updating.
  • When upgrading a file storage cluster earlier than version 1.2.0 to this version, if the ACOS (AVE) cluster corresponding to the file controller has volume pinning enabled, make sure that the available cache capacity for volume pinning in the cluster is at least twice the total capacity of the system disks with volume pinning disabled across all file controllers in the current file storage cluster.

Note

When upgrading a file storage cluster, do not enable volume pinning for other virtual volumes in the ACOS (AVE) cluster.

Procedure

  1. In the file storage cluster list, click Upgrade available to the right of the file storage cluster version Info, or click the Settings tab on the File storage cluster page and select Cluster upgrade.

  2. On the Cluster upgrade page, click Upgrade to the right of the target version.

  3. In the pop-up Upgrade file storage cluster dialog, click Upgrade.
