Associating system services

After completing the deployment of the observability service, if you need to provide monitoring and alerting features for system services, associate the system services with the observability service.

Association rule

An observability service can be associated with multiple system services, but a system service can only be associated with one observability service.

Associating the Arcfra Kubernetes Engine

You need to perform the corresponding association on the Kubernetes service page on AOC.

• For details on associating the Arcfra Kubernetes Engine (AKE) system service, refer to the Management > Managing the Kubernetes service > Managing the AKE system service > Associating an observability service with the AKE system service section.
• For details on associating the AKE workload cluster, refer to the Management > Managing the Kubernetes service > Managing workload clusters > Managing addons > Managing the observability addon section.

Associating other system services

1. In the left sidebar of the AOC System configuration page, select Observability and click Settings in the upper right corner.
2. In the pop-up dialog box, select the target observability service and choose Associated system service.
3. In the Associated system service page, click Edit associations, and in the pop-up dialog box, click the checkbox to choose one or more system services to associate.
4. Click Save.

If you need to add system services to be associated or remove associated system services, click Edit associations and perform the corresponding operations in the pop-up dialog box.

Viewing associated system services

1. In the left sidebar of the AOC System configuration page, select Observability and click Settings in the upper right corner.

2. In the pop-up dialog box, select the target observability service and choose Associated system service to view the name, type, and version of the system services associated with the selected observability service, as well as the association status between the system services and the observability service.

   Information:

   When viewing the associated AKE service, click ... on the right of the AKE service, and then select View association details to see the specific objects associated with this observability service (including the associated AKE system service and workload clusters). To view the association status of these objects with this observability service, go to check the specific associations in the AOC Kubernetes services page.
