When deploying AOC in an ACOS cluster, you can select either of the following methods.
- Deploying AOC with AOC Installer
- Deploying AOC on a manually-created virtual machine
The process of deploying AOC in an Arcfra Cloud Operating System (ACOS) cluster is basically the same, whether using Arcfra Virtualization Engine (AVE) or VMware ESXi as the virtualization platform. The following sections are the corresponding examples of deploying AOC in a managed ACOS (AVE) cluster using each of the above methods.
Note
- After AOC is deployed in the cluster, do not install a third party plugin in the AOC virtual machine, so as not to affect the stable operation of the AOC virtual machine.
- AOC supports modifying the time zone during deployment, so that it remains consistent with the time zone of the cluster running AOC. Currently, this version of AOC only supports modifying the time zone of AOC during deployment after deploying AOC on a manually-created virtual machine.
