Determining the AOC configuration level

AOC offers two configuration levels: Small and Large. Each level is capable of managing a different number of clusters, hosts, and virtual machines, and requires a different amount of cluster resources.

Before deploying AOC in the cluster, you need to determine the configuration level for the AOC based on actual needs, and ensure that the cluster has sufficient resources, including CPU, memory, and storage space, for the AOC virtual machine.

Configuration level AOC management capability AOC virtual machine resource requirements
Small
  • 10 clusters

  • 100 hosts

  • 1,000 virtual machines

  • 4-core vCPU

  • 12 GiB memory

  • 100 GiB storage space

Large
  • 100 clusters

  • 1,000 hosts

  • 10,000 virtual machines

  • 8-core vCPU

  • 19 GiB memory

  • 400 GiB storage space
