Editing an alert rule

AOC provides comprehensive alert rules for clusters and observability services, covering cluster hardware, services, computing, storage, networks, and more.

Alert rules are divided into Global rule and Special rule. Global rules are system default settings, and special rules are user-defined settings. No special rules are set by default. You can add one or more rules as needed.

A global rule defines the alert description and the specific alert level and is applied to all clusters by default. You can choose whether to enable global rules and set the alert level for them. When setting a special rule, you can select one or more target clusters and set the alert level. Clusters that have been set with special rules will no longer follow the global rules.

Note:

Currently, you cannot configure a specific alert level for network traffic visualization alert rules.

Procedure

  1. On the AOC Alert page, select Alert rule. Search for the rule you want to edit in the search box, click the rule, and then select Edit on the pop-up details panel. You should see the Edit alert rule page.

  2. Choose whether to enable global alert rules, and set the alert level and threshold.

  3. (Optional) Click Add special rule, select a cluster, and set the special rule for the cluster.

  4. Click Save.
